Jermain de Rozario until the age of 25 was a bad boy by his own admission. As he says he didn’t have serious goals in his life. But he had a swift change of mind, he wanted to be a chef. He gave it everything and started to learn from his mentor Soenil Bahadoer, so that he could open his restaurant a few years later. The Indonesian kitchen has a serious impact on him due to his family roots; his mother constantly shares new local recipes with him on Skype.
update: He got his first Michelin star in December of 2018.
